A couple of weeks ago I wrote about an interesting workaround to get a visa to visit Saudi Arabia. In December there will be a Formula E race in Riyadh, and Saudi Arabia is issuing e-visas for the purposes of attending this event. My general plan was to spend two nights in Riyadh and two nights in Jeddah.
Yasser, a year-old artist, was taking me on an impromptu tour of his hometown of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on a sweltering September afternoon. But Yasser wears a silver necklace, a silver bracelet, and a sparkly red stud in his left ear, and his hair is shaggy. Yasser is homosexual, or so we would describe him in the West, and the barbershop we visited caters to gay men.
Jackie Northam. Fatma Tanis. Saudi women wait for their drivers outside a hotel in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
This book is a complete guide to how to handle your discovery that you're gay - or at some other place on what's commonly referred to as 'the spectrum' but which I prefer to think of as a slide since a spectrum implies something that's fixed, and I think very few people are solidly fixed in whatever position they're in. Your orientation and preferences can change over your life and no, thats not the same as saying 'gayness can be cured' because there's nothing to cure. There were times when it felt a little bit over the top for me, but you can't blame a guy for reveling in who he is, so that's no big deal.
Post a Comment. The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif speaking on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting, confirmed the willingness of the Islamic Republic to establish "constructive" relations with the countries of the region, including Saudi Arabia. The head of Tehran's diplomacy stressed that, thanks to the efforts by the Organization for the Hajj pilgrimage, Iran is in favor of sending compatriots to the nation considered its greatest rival in the Middle East.
But a few years ago, year-old Riyadh Khalaf decided to do just that. His YouTube channel has made Riyadh a poster boy for gay pride and equality. Shooting a pilot at BBCThree this morn!
In this column, we will hear from voices in the LGBT community about their experiences on the road, safety tips, events, and, overall, advice for other LGBT travelers get the most out of their time on the road! There are gay families who travel, solo gay travelers like myselfsolo lesbian travelers, ones who travel for festivals or nightlife or honeymoons, those that take cruises or splurge on luxury trips, and ones who rough it camping and backpacking in faraway places. And just like every other type of traveler, we travel for our own personal reasons.
Started in to keep a track of gay films that I watched, this blog has come much further than I had planned. There are tons of movies that I need to watch and review here. Through this blog, I want to give you genuine, my personal heart-felt review of the films that I see.
The Big Apple is synonymous with the idea of freedom, creativity and the ability to be whoever you want to be. I travelled to NYC and neighbouring New Jersey city Newark with my boyfriend for a whirlwind 48 hour trip where we crammed in some of the best that these two locations have to offer. This gorgeous sprawling park seems to be a never ending labyrinth of ponds, cycle trails, picnic spots, hidden bars and busking gems. Josh and I decided to rent a row boat from the Loeb Boathouse.
