Adults interested in participating in Philmont, Northern Tier or Seabase High Adventure trips must complete several training classes online and in person so they are best prepared for each unique environment. The majority of training is available online but there are several classes available only in-person. To access these online classes, visit MyScouting.

This is always the BEST way to take your training, in-person, with an instructor. You can find in-person training opportunities by going to the council training calendar. National has created online versions of many of the classes you need for your Scouting job.

The program is open to all interested applicants: those who want to take up refresher courses or second degree, college undergrads, working students, Filipinos from various regions in the Philippines, and Overseas Filipino Workers OFWs who wish to pursue a college degree. The program also gives an opportunity for international students and people afflicted with disabilities to study in the comforts of their home. It favors an independent self-learning style which takes place outside of a formal classroom.
The WFA course must be from an approved school. This WFA certified crew member can be an adult or scout crew member. If not, you will require training prior to arrival at your trek so check out WMO.
